I’m a senior at the FAMU–FSU College of Engineering, studying mechanical engineering with a minor in Philosophy of Law. My experience includes hypersonic-flow research and engineering internships at Boeing, Danfoss Turbocor, and Clocky. I’m interested in aerospace and defense policy, philosophy, and the institutions that shape technology.

Background & experience

The Boeing CompanyFlight Controls, Primary Flight Function Intern · May 2026–Present

Produced test procedures for Signal Selection and Fault Detection logic, covering 14 model-based requirements. Completed pitch-control analysis for stabilizer-position and column-cutout functions. Built a wiki assistant for MATLAB-toolbox onboarding and resource discovery, reducing average lookup time by 80%.

Danfoss TurbocorMechanical / Manufacturing Engineering Intern · April 2024–June 2025

Optimized compressor shim sizing and axial alignment, improving first-pass yield by 63% on the blueprint operation. Automated CMM inspection in PC-DMIS, reducing cycle time by 18%. Designed leak-test fixtures in CREO, reduced production leak rate by 12%, and implemented six improvements through DFMEA.

Clocky, LLCMechanical Engineering R&D Intern · May–August 2024

Designed CAD assemblies and motion simulations in SolidWorks and Simulink. Prototyped electromechanical subsystems using 3D printing and MATLAB testing, evaluated motor selection and product feasibility, and produced four technical drawing packages, four bills of materials, and IP documentation.

Florida Center for Advanced Aero-PropulsionExperimental Aerodynamics Research · August 2024–May 2026

Hypersonic boundary-layer research in the PolySonic Wind Tunnel. Designed and manufactured a modular 7° half-angle cone in SolidWorks with sensor mounts, developed Python Fourier-analysis code, and worked on FLDI diagnostic integration under Dr. Alexandre Berger.

NASA L’SPACE Mission Concept AcademyElectrical subsystems team · August–December 2025

Worked with NASA mentors on electrical and sensor subsystems for a LUCY mission concept, using Siemens NX and JMARS for CAD modeling and planetary-data analysis.

Theta Tau · Phi-DeltaExecutive Board Marshal · Professional Development Chair · Brotherhood Chair

Chapter leadership, governance, and professional development. Recognized as Co-Chair of the Semester.

NMHH DigitalCo-founder · June 2021–October 2022

Co-founded a digital forum for youth discussion of philosophy, law, and politics, and organized lectures with academics and public figures.

Mu Alpha ThetaMath & Physics Tutor · August 2020–December 2021

Tutored students at Suncoast Community High School in mathematics and physics, including calculus and mechanics.
